Crowder board to consider naming rooms

During its regular monthly meeting Thursday, the Crowder College Board of Trustees are scheduled to:

• Consider naming one of the conference rooms in the future Arnold  Farber Academic Building the Ross and Vickie Babbitt conference room. A dedication for the new Farber building is set for Aug. 8 at 1:30 p.m.

• Consider change orders on the Farber building.

• Review goals and objectives that had been set down for the 2007-2008 academic year.

• Consider the resignation of Ishmael Silva, HEP site coordinator.

• Consider the employment of Cynthia Branscum, Project Director-Community Based Jobs Grant; Angela Williams, Clinical Coordinator; Spring Bradley, Cashier/Accounts Receivable Specialist; Robin Hicklin, Financial Aid Coordinator/Counselor.

• Consider a semi-annual Conflict of Interest Resolution for submission to the Missouri Ethics Commission.

• Hear a report from dean of instruction Brad Tyndall on tuition for special programs, including Transport Training, Paramedic/EMT and Water/ERC.

• Hear evaluations from dean of instruction Brad Tyndall on certain courses at the college.

• Hear a grants office report from director of grants and alumni relations Pam Hudson.

The board of trustees will meet at 10 a.m. in the Fireside Room in the Crowder student center.
