The Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce Downtown Events Committee invites area craft and food booth vendors to participate in the 7th Annual Dickens Christmas Faire that will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. in The Civic Center (Municipal Auditorium) and Historic Downtown Square in Neosho.

The Dickens Christmas Faire will feature craft and food vendors, horse-drawn carriage rides, breakfast with Santa, craft projects and movies for kids.

According to Shana Griffin of the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce, “We are still accepting vendor applications for craft and food vendors. We have space available inside the Civic Center for crafters and food booths will be located outside. We are excited that our Dickens Christmas Faire will be held inside the newly renovated Civic Center.  Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8-11 a.m.  This year, we have added craft projects for kids and there will be movies for kids to watch during the day, plus horse-drawn carriage rides will begin at the Civic Center and go around the square.”

Booth spaces are $35 each with a $5 electrical connection. Applications are available at the chamber office or e-mail info@neoshocc.com.

The Dickens Christmas Faire will conclude after the lighted Christmas Parade at 5 p.m.

An estimated 130 entries, most of which will be floats, will participate in the parade.

The Dickens Christmas Faire is free and open to the public. For more information, contact the Neosho Area Chamber of Commerce at (417) 451-1925 or info@ neoshocc.com.
