Even though most roads in Neosho and the surrounding area are snow-covered still, the Neosho Daily News will attempt to deliver to as many homes as safely possible Friday afternoon.
"Please understand that because Neosho has several hills in town, there will be some routes that will not be safe for our carriers to drive on to deliver to our customers," said Rick Rogers, publisher of the Daily News. "We understand that our customers want their newspapers, and we want to deliver them the news, but we also have to consider the safety of the carrier force as well. We appreciate all of our customers' patience and understanding as we all deal with this historic winter storm."
Carriers will deliver in-town Neosho routes on Friday. Newspapers may not be delivered to Granby, Diamond, McDonald County or Seneca routes today due to poor road conditions.
"Once all roads are safe, we will deliver every edition that has been missed so far," Rogers said.
