An Arkansas motorcyclist sustained minor injuries when he lost control of his cycle on a McDonald County roadway Friday afternoon.

Ralph E. Lambert, 54, of Gravette, Ark., was taken by ambulance to Joplin’s Freeman West Hospital for treatment.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened at 2:35 p.m. Friday on Route B, five miles south of Seneca in McDonald County. A patrol report said Lambert — westbound on a 2003 Honda motorcycle — failed to negotiate a curve, lost control, and overturned on the roadway.

Lambert was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, the report noted.
