Crowder College will be hosting a choir concert and Christmas celebration at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Longwell Museum at the Elsie Plaster Center.

The show choir will perform several numbers from traditional show tunes to the less traditional including Goo Goo Dolls’ “Better Days,” which originated as a Christmas piece.

After intermission, the choral group will sing an eclectic blend of traditional and upbeat Christmas music. The concert is a good chance to get together for a good time, said music instructor  Dr. Kierstin Bible.

“It’s Christmas music, what more reason do you need,” Bible said.
