Jimmie ‘Jim’ Ahart, 81, Neosho, died July 21, 2017, at his home.  
He was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Versailles, Mo., the son of James and Billie (Campbell) Ahart. Jim moved to Neosho in December 2000. He served in the U.S. Air Force and had been employed as a welder for R and W Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing musical instruments.  He was a loving father and grandpa who loved to spend time with his family.  
Jim is survived by four children, Jimmie Don Ahart, Neosho, Teresa Niswonger and husband, Johnny, Neosho, Tammy Kimbrough and husband, James, Diamond and Carol House, Neosho; one brother, Johnnie Ahart, Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Nancy Bean, Kansas City, Mo. and Kay Eckingker,  Denver, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Milton Ahart and five siblings.  
A memorial visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 29, at the Bible Holiness Assembly of God in Neosho.
