Jason Lynn Hall-Box was born Aug. 3, 1996 in Boise, Idaho. He entered into rest on Sept. 12, 2017 in Joplin at the age of 21 from injuries sustained from a vehicle accident.

Jason Lynn Hall-Box was born Aug. 3, 1996 in Boise, Idaho. He entered into rest on Sept. 12, 2017 in Joplin at the age of 21 from injuries sustained from a vehicle accident.  
Jason moved to the area in 1997 and was a college student.  
He graduated from Neosho High School in 2015 and was an accomplished wrestler.  He was a three times state wrestling qualifier and a two time state medalist.  
Jason is survived by his mother and step father, Darla Box and Bret Smith, Neosho; his father, Adam Hall and wife, Jennifer, Joplin; two brothers, Trevor Box and Dustin Smith and wife, Kasi and niece, Emma, Neosho; one sister, Grace Box, Neosho; paternal grandparents, Randy and Miki Hall, Boise, Idaho; Jim and Cyndi Munsell, Seneca and Richard and Joedy Greninger, Joplin; maternal grandparents, Geannie and Donny Phelps, Cheyenne, Wy. and Eugene and Catherine Smith, Diamond; great grandmother, Shirley Hyso, Monett and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Calvary Baptist Church in Neosho. Private family interment will follow at Gibson Cemetery. There will be a reception for family and friends at the United Methodist Church CLC from 5 to 8 p.m.
