Deloris Ann Shewmake, 74, Granby, entered into rest on Oct. 20, 2017 at her home in Granby.  
Deloris was born Sept. 21, 1943, Granby, the daughter of Terrel and Helen (Largen) Sims and was a lifelong area resident.  She graduated from Granby High School in 1961 and had worked at Buddy L, Honeybear Foods, Tyson Foods, Joplin Globe and Neosho Daily. Her hobbies included collecting angels and Rexford Ware and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a member of the Granby Gospel Tabernacle Church.  
Deloris married Lawrence Shewmake and he preceded her in death in 1999.  
She is survived by five children, Steven Allen Murray and wife, Katie , Neosho; Danette Whitman, Granby; Lora Murray, Granby; Lawrence Shewmake, II, Granby and Terrell Shewmake and husband, Thafer,  Houston, Texas; step children, Connitta Hess and husband, Matt,  Marysville, Calif.; Stephen Shewmake and wife, Barbara, Pierce City; Ryan Coker and wife, Heidi, Chico, Calif., and Robbin Coker, Wake Forest, NC; one brother, Terry Sims and wife, Brenda, Neosho; two sisters, Cheryl Fazel and husband Tom, Wichita, Kan., and Shirley Castiaux and husband, John, Cookeville, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Sims.  
Services will be held 2 p.m. today at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel in Granby, Pastor Seldon Harris will officiate. Interment will follow in the Granby Memorial Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Mason Whitman, Mac Lowe, Michael Moore, Kevin Durfee, Jeromy Vega, Parker Gutherless-Murray.
