Anthony ‘Tony’ Blaine Westfield, Sr., 52, Neosho, entered into rest on Nov. 2, 2017 at his home in Neosho, following an extended illness.

Anthony ‘Tony’ Blaine Westfield, Sr., 52, Neosho, entered into rest on Nov. 2, 2017 at his home in Neosho, following an extended illness.  
Tony was born June 7, 1965 in Omaha, Neb., the son of Earl B. and Sylvia (Yellowhawk) Westfield.  He moved to Neosho in 1982 from Omaha and had worked at Howard Johnson’s and Twin Rivers.  He was an avid sports fan of the New York Giants and Nebraska Cornhuskers, as well as watching basketball and baseball.  He enjoyed listening to music, playing pool and hanging out with family and friends, making them laugh with childhood stories, jokes and his brand of off the wall humor.  
He was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Neosho.  
Tony is survived by his wife, Sherrilynn Smiles Westfield, Neosho; two children, Anthony Westfield, Jr., Joplin and Karynda Westfield, Neosho and two  grandchildren, Braelee Mertens and Laikynn Mertens.  
He was preceded in death by his parents.  
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. Larry Anderson will officiate.  
Private family graveside services will follow the memorial services.  Contributions in memory of Tony may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66; Neosho, MO  64850.
