Richard Denzil Eads was born Oct. 10, 1936 in rural Goodman, the son of Loren and Morine Krause Eads. He entered into rest on Oct. 19, 2017 at the age of 81 years.

He was united in marriage to Avis Tice on Aug. 31, 1967. She survives.
He was a lifelong area resident and served in the United States Air Force for seven years.
He was an over the road truck driver and retired in 2010 from Sitton Truck Lines.
He loved to hunt and fish and camp in the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Douglas Eads, and a sister, Etta Mae Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Avis, of the home, three sisters, Margie Mitchell and Martha Mitchell of Anderson and Loretta Taylor of Neosho, sister-in-laws Karen Eads of Neosho, Violet King of Neosho, Nellbina Wright of Quapaw, Oklahoma, Leona Stout of Labaca, Arkansas, and brother-in-laws Gary Tice of Neosho and John Morris, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Abundant Life Church of Neosho at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14.
