Thomas “Tom” Frank Hawkins, 59, husband of Prudence Ramsey Hawkins, of Simpsonville, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.

Thomas “Tom” Frank Hawkins, 59, husband of Prudence Ramsey Hawkins, of Simpsonville, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2017.
Born in Sparta, WI, he was a son of the late Raymond Frank and Evelyn Inderberg Hawkins.
Tom worked at 3M for 37 years. He was a member of Hallmark Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, choir director, treasurer, and also took care of the buildings and grounds.
   In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter, Emilie H.  Gilbert (Dan), of Pelzer; a son, Andrew Scott Hawkins, Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Miles, Seth and Bethany Gilbert; a sister, Gail H. Maurice, Warren, OH; three brothers, William C. Hawkins, Simpsonville, Raymond J. Hawkins, Long Island, NY, and James D. Hawkins, Cashton, Wisc.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
   A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Southeast. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, in the Southeast chapel. Burial will be in Hallmark Baptist Church Cemetery.
