Bertha Lee “Tiny” Barber, 88, a former area resident, entered into rest on Dec. 31, 2017 in Burlington, Kan.  
She was born Jan. 3, 1929 in Dexter, Mo., and had moved into the area in 1981 from Rogersville, Mo.  Bertha was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker.  
She married Thermon “Shorty” Barber on June 13, 1947; he preceded her in death on May 5, 2012.  
Bertha is survived by three daughters, Venia Syring and husband, Arthur, Burlington, Carol McVey, Ava, and Cora Schroder of the state of Florida; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.  
In addition to her husband, Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Anita Looney; one grandson, Eric Ellis; and a step brother, Charles Brown.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., today at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, with Rev. Ralph Walker officiating.  Interment will follow at Maple Park Cemetery, Aurora.  Visitation will begin at noon, prior to services.
