Lonnie Wayne Stites, 67, Neosho, entered into rest on June 28, 2018 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin.  
Lonnie was born Feb. 24, 1951 in Pineville, the son of Ernest Lee Stites and Agnes May (Townsend) Stites.  He was a truck driver, enjoyed car shows and playing with his grandchildren.  He was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church in Goodman.  
Lonnie and Debera (Strickland) Stites were married on July 12, 1969 in Bethpage,  and she survives.  
He is also survived by two sons, Bub Stites and wife, Rae, Anderson, and Jeff Stites and Dee Howard, Neosho; one daughter, Machelle Day and husband, Dennis, Anderson; four siblings, Larry Stites, Goodman, Rosalee Morris, Goodman, Janie Hatfield, Longview, Shirley Wood, Bella Vista, Ark.; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  
In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Stites and a sister, Betty Stout.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. G. L. Murphy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Tracy Cemetery, Anderson.  
The family will receive friends between 5 and 6 p.m. on Thursday at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
