Carol Dean Dale, 87, of Neosho, Missouri died on September 4, 2018 while residing at the Season’s Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Carol Dean Dale, 87, of Neosho, Missouri died on September 4, 2018 while residing at the Season’s Care Center in Kansas City, Missouri.



Carol was born December 18, 1930 to Leona and Jesse Dale. Carol grew up on a farm in rural Newton County along with 6 brothers and 5 sisters. Carol graduated from Neosho High School in 1949, the first of the boys to graduate from high school.  Carol served in the United States Air Force from 1949 to 1952 and was stationed in Germany, France and North Africa.



Carol married Norma Joann Speak on May 28, 1953, and they raised three boys, Ron, Don, and Ted. Carol received his Bachelor’s  degree in Sociology from Oklahoma A&M in 1956 and his Master’s degree in School Administration from Oklahoma State University in 1957. Carol was a teacher and later an administrator in the Joplin school district for 15 years before beginning a career in the construction industry.



Carol never truly retired and enjoyed developing, building, selling, and leasing property, building his last rental home at age 84.



Carol loved to travel and traveled extensively both in the U.S.  and abroad.



Carol is survived by his wife Norma, his three boys, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A private funeral service is being held for family members.
