Everett L. Sallee, Sr.

Everett L. Sallee, Sr., 76, Neosho, died Feb. 5, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital, following a year of failing health. 

Mr. Sallee was born Sept. 8, 1933, in Neosho, and had returned to the area in December 2008 from Shell Knob. He had worked as a design engineer in the aerospace industry and was a member of the High Street Christian Church. 

Everett and Marjorie Crocker were married on June 22, 1952, in Diamond, and she survives. 
Additional survivors include three children, Everett E. Sallee, Jr., Grove, Okla., Terry L. Boswell, St. Charles, Mo., and Michael C. Sallee, Olympia, Wash.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Olen R. Sallee, Ceres, Calif., and Frank M. Sallee, Lithia Springs, Ga. 

He was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy W. Sallee and Gary K. Sallee, January 2009. 
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, John Doolen, minister, and George McElroy will officiate. Interment will follow in the Swars Prairie/Thompson Grove Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Mike Sallee, Denny Boswell, Leroy Sallee, Joshua Colbert, Cory Hall and Brandon Sallee.  Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from noon to 5 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. 

Contributions, in memory of Mr. Sallee, may be made to High Street Christian Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, P.O. Box 66, Neosho, 64850.
