Charissa Cheryl Davis, 41, Neosho, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2008, at St. John’s Regional Medical Center.

Charissa was born Aug. 9, 1966, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Joe and Gloria McKinney Davis. She graduated from McDonald County High School in 1984. Charissa enjoyed working on counted cross-stitch, reading and writing stories. 

She crocheted many beautiful baby blankets and sent them around the world. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. 

Survivors include her parents, Joe and Gloria Davis, Neosho; her brother, Lael Davis and wife, Carine, Neosho; her sister, Susanne Williford and husband, James, Central Asia; three nieces, Addie Davis, Libby Davis, and Whitney Williford; two nephews, Ian Davis and Uriah Williford; and many other extended family members and friends. 

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Fellowship Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Grace will officiate. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Neosho.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church Williford Missionary Fund, in care of Parker Mortuary.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
