George William Todd, Sr., 56, Neosho, died at 12:20 a.m., May 4, 2008, at his home in Neosho, following a six week illness. 

George was born Dec. 3, 1951 in Bangor, Maine, and moved to Neosho one year ago from Oceanside, Calif. He was a commercial sandblaster and painter.

He is survived by two sons, George William Todd, Jr. and wife, Kristen; Racine, and William Harry Todd, Rogers, Ark.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his significant other, Deborah Walker, Neosho; three step-children, Samantha Jo Gibbs and Heather Ivey, Neosho and Alan Sims, Long Beach, Calif.; six step-grandchildren and three brothers, Gary Todd, of the state of California; Kevin Todd, Neosho and Mike Todd, of the state of California. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Jeff Todd. 

The body has been taken for cremation and a memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Big Spring Park in Neosho.  Services directed by Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
