Treva J. Glover, 67, Neosho, died at 11:25 p.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008, at St. John’s Medical Center in Joplin, following a two and a half year illness.
Treva was born June 25, 1941, in Picher, Okla., and moved to the area in 1959 from Picher. She worked as an LPN at Sale Memorial Hospital, now Freeman Neosho Hospital, retiring in June 2004 and attended Hart Baptist Church.
Treva and Everett Eugene Glover were married on Dec. 23, 1959 in Peoria, Okla., and he survives.
Additional survivors include four children, Jean Ann Glover, Neosho; Max Alan Glover and wife, Tena, Independence, Mo.; Rex Lee Glover and wife, Carol, Olathe, Kan., and Jo Ellen Mailes and husband, Cory, Seneca; two brothers, Glen Bird, Quapaw, Okla., and Arnold Bird, Ocala, Fla.; two sisters, Donna Price, Pittsburg, Kan., and Mary Radford, Quapaw; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Jonell Bird and a sister, Faye Hopkins.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Rev. John Rose will officiate.
Burial will be in the GAR Cemetery, Miami, Okla., and serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Price, Jeff Price, Dennis Glover, Paul Bird, Shane Pogue and Ronnie Bates.
Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho from noon to 5 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
