Mrs. Bonnie Ann Baxter, 80, Neosho, passed away Aug. 13, 2010, in Joplin.
Mrs. Baxter was born Nov. 17, 1929, to the late Levi Bill and Ollie (Cleveland) Morriss, Pineville. She lived most of her life in California, where she worked in insurance sales.
On Oct. 4, 1967, she was united in marriage to Carl Baxter, in Las Vegas, Nev. Carl preceded her in death on April 25, 1999.
After retirement, she enjoyed collecting dolls.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara McCool, Pineville.
Survivors include a step daughter, Carla Leas, Castroville, Calif.; three brothers, Gene Morriss, Goodman, Tom Morriss, and Grady Morriss, both of Tucson, Ariz.; three granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
She will be missed by her family and friends, and by her neighbors in the Meadows Subdivision.
Arrangements were under the personal care and direction of Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson. No formal services were planned.
