Jerry Russell, 69, Goodman, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Freeman West Hospital, following a sudden illness.  

Mr. Russell was born Oct. 1, 1940, in Pikeville, Tenn., and moved to the area from Illinois. He owned and operated J.D.’s Cabinet Shop in Goodman and retired in 2003.  

Jerry married Janet O. Watson on Nov. 19, 1957, at Covington, Tenn., and she survives. Additional survivors include a son, Danny Russell, Cameron, Mo.; two grandsons, Jonathan Russell, Neosho, and Marcus Russell and wife, Audrey, Neosho; two great-grandchildren, Alexus Ann Russell and Josiah Daniel Russell; a brother, Larry Don Russell, Spencer, Tenn.; and two sisters, Bettye Sue Deppler, Bella Vista, Ark., and Glenda Faye Hustill, Burlison, Tenn.  

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Phillip Senn will officiate. Interment will be in the Howard Cemetery, Goodman. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. today and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
