Diana K. Hill, 58, Granby, died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at her home, following a lengthy illness.
She was born Aug. 29, 1951, in Nevada, Mo., to Adam and Dorothy (Reeves) Jones.
Diana moved to the Southwest Missouri area in the mid 1970s from Kansas. She had worked as a convenience store manager, and loved to decorate and remodel her home. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Hill; four sons, Michael Hill, Joplin, Stephen Hill, Boulder City, Richard Hill, Granby, and Jackie Hill, Neosho; her mother, Dorothy Heady-Cameron, Carthage; a brother, Clifford Heady, Carthage; two sisters, Jean Ann Nash, Oswego, Kan., and Brenda Lee Manley, Joplin; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, Granby, with burial following at Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City. Diana’s sons will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m., Wednesday, where the family will receive friends from 6 - 7 p.m. The casket will be closed at all times.
