Marcelene Nunn-Sreaves, 91, Claremore, Okla., died following an illness on Aug. 28, 2010.

She was born in Mason Springs, Newton County, on Jan. 18, 1919, to parents Pete B. Nunn and Carol-Roark Nunn.

She married Ray Sreaves on July 3, 1954. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Vicki Wade and husband, Ronnie, Claremore; two grandsons, Stephen Hastings and wife, Deanna, and Jordan Wade, Claremore; a granddaughter, Sarah Campbell and husband, Brandon, Claremore; four great-grandsons, Grant Hastings, Zachary Mouse, Alex Campbell and Kyle Campbell, all of Claremore. Other survivors include a sister, Nadene Bruton, Neohso; brothers, Sam Nunn, Neosho, Max Nunn, Seneca, Brooks Nunn, Edmond, Okla.; niece, Rhonda Percival and husband, Donnie, Seneca; nephews Ron Nunn and wife, Marti, Edmond, Jeff Nunn and wife, Stephanie Goodman; cousins, Floyd Sreaves and wife, Carolyn, Seneca, Margie Perse and husband, Kenny, Wyandotte, Okla., Darwin Tucker, Seneca.

She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and embroidering and working in her flowers. She graduated from Seneca High School, class of 1936. She attended Wichita Business College and was a former office employee of Rainey Wholesale Grocery Co.

She was a former member of the Swars Prairie Baptist church, south of Seneca. She was the church pianist for many years. She also served as Sunday school secretary.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at the Swars Prairie Baptist Church Cemetery, south of Seneca.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rice Funeral Home, Claremore, Okla.
