We are now four months into our Coffee with the Editor and the next one will be on Tuesday, July  10, from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at  at Denny's community room in Neosho.
I want to personally invite you - our readers - again to this. We have had a pretty good turnout for the last three events.
We want you to give us suggestions on hat you would like to see in the Daily News, tell us concerns that you have about your community, ask questions and give input and so for. As an added treat, we will buy you coffee.
Also, we will bring the current issue of the Daily News so that you can look over it, but also read it.
The staff of the Daily News are very much vital part of the community. We not only work here, but we live here, we attend some of the same events that you might, we shop here, and we attend churches here.
I know that our staff wants to hear from you.
This is a great way to communicate with you, our readers.
Newspapers are a vital aspect of any community. Since 1905, you have made this newspaper thrive. And we want to continue on that.
We at the Daily News want you, our readers, to enjoy the paper and what we bring to you. At the Daily News, we thrive on local events, local coverage and local coverage of council meetings, school board meetings, the general features. Basically, if is news to you, it is news to us.
So again, I want to invite each and everyone of you to come to these Coffee with the Editor. The coffee will be ready.
