Congratulations to Crowder College for another successful wreath auction.
This year’s event, held at the Elsie Plaster Center on the Crowder College campus, raised more than $33,000 for college scholarships for deserving students.
Dozens of businesses and individuals donated wreaths or auction items for the event. A complete list of donors was in Sunday’s paper, and space won’t allow us to repeat those names here.
But we can offer our heartfelt thanks to those who gave and those who purchased wreaths or items during the live and silent auctions. Thank you for giving of your time, your talents and your dollars for a worthy cause.
Many people can realize their dream of obtaining a college education, thanks in part to your efforts Tuesday evening. And since many donors are repeat givers, no doubt countless students were able to further their education, to gain valuable job skills and training, and to make their dreams a reality thanks to your work and selflessness.
We are truly in awe and can simply say thanks.
