Dear Editor,

Having been a resident of Neosho for over 50 years, I am aware of the good guys at the Methodist Church reaching out to help others in our community.

If you are involved in a local charity you know them as friends and willing workers.

Our community, in my opinion, is the epitome of small town America, where organizations such as the Food Basket Brigade, Angel Food, Scouts, SOSA, etc. are successful because of compassionate and generous individuals who give time and resources, making our town a more civil and fun place to live.

As I read the article in the Daily on Feb. 27 regarding the St. Andrew Potato Drop at the Christian Life Center, I knew many would join me in saying “thank you, Methodist men.”

Sincerely,

Ben Moore,

Neosho
