The Crowder College Foundation hosted their fourth annual Evening of Jazz Tuesday at the Neosho Civic. Jazz bands from the Neosho High School, and McDonald County High School opened for the Crowder Jazz Orchestra.

Hundreds of residents, visitors and police officers came to Wilmington on Saturday, April 20, to hold a vigil for native son Sean Collier. Collier, a Somerville resident and MIT police officer, was killed in the line of duty April 18, reportedly by the suspects in the Boston Marathon bombing.
