Landing in a flying museum

This is the sound and view from a waist gunner's position on a World War II B-17 bomber as it lands Joplin Regional Airport for landing. The bomber recently visited the airport to help raise funds for the Freedom of Flight Museum, a proposed museum for the Joplin Airport. The .50 caliber machine gun in the video is one of 13 that were used by the crew to defend the plane from enemy fighters as it approached its target. This one is real, although it has been disabled and demilitarized.
