SENECA — The Seneca Indians will host their wrestling camp July 24 through July 26 at Seneca High School.
The camp starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs for two hours each day. Cost $20 per wrestler. Wrestlers ages 5 through 18 are eligible to sign up. No limit on sign-ups.
For more information, please contact Chandler Edwards at 918-636-6918.
The first day will feature Vinita High head coach Scott Mattison, who will instruct campers on the fine arts of cradles and bar arms. Vinita finished sixth in Oklahoma Class 3 this past season.
Seneca trained Will Roark — the winningest individual high school wrestler in Missouri history — will be the featured clinician on the second day. Roark earned a 18-5 record at NCAA Division I Missouri, before transferring to NCAA-II Maryville, Nate Rodriguez’s old stomping grounds. While at Seneca, Roark earned three individual state titles.
Edwards himself will be the clinician on the third and final night of the camp.
Seneca High won a Missouri Class 1 state title two years ago and finished second last season.
