After the state-mandated “Dead Week,” high schools across the state begin their practices for the fall sports season on Monday.
Neosho High recently announced its practice schedule for the first week, leading up to Pride Night on August 5 which introduces all the participants in fall activities.
Every athlete MUST have a physical and insurance/concussion form on file prior to being able to be allowed to practice.
Football players need to be ready to go from 7 to 10 a.m. each day that first week at the north practice field.
Boys soccer lines it up from 9-11:30 a.m. at Lions Field. Please bring cleats, water, tennis shoes, and shin guards.
Cross country runners meet at the HS atrium at 6 a.m. and practice until 8 a.m. Need water and a timing wrist watch.
Softball laces it up from 8 to 10 a.m. and then 4 to 6 p.m. at the softball complex each day. After Thursday evening’s practice, parents and coaches have their prerequisite meeting.
Girls tennis makes a racket at 9-10:45 at the Neosho Tennis Courts.
Volleyball goes to work at 8 through 11 a.m. at the high school gymnasium with a hour lunch through noon and then the Lady Wildcats have volleyball school for another hour until 1 p.m. Bring water.
All fall sports will have parent meetings at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the high school.
