In singles, No. 1 Sarah Werner lost 8-1 to Morgan Zebel, No. 2 Emily Mitchell fell 8-2 to Tawny Denzer, No. 3 Kennedy Watts lost 8-2 to Samantha Pichardo, No. 4 Chaney Long lost 8-1 to Carlie Busch, No. 5 Morgan Brattin fell 8-0 to Madison Scrivner, and No. 6 Julie Phillips lost 8-2 to Gwendolyn Prowell.
In doubles, No. 1 Werner-Mitchell lost 8-0 to Zabel-Scrivener, No. 2 Watts-Long fell 8-3 to Denzer-Busch, and No. 3 Brattain-Phillips lost 8-0 to Pichardo-Moug.
In the JV match, Avery Reding lost 6-0.
On the season, Neosho dropped to 0-3 overall and 0-2 Central Ozark Conference Large. The Lady Wildcats look for their first win today against Lamar and do not return home until September 12 against Mount Vernon.
