LAMAR — Behind a ninth place by Gabrielle Hall and a 23rd by Lauryn Macy, the Diamond Lady Wildcats finished in fifth place in the Lamar meet Tuesday.

Diamond scored 141 points, falling in behind team winner Lamar (98), Nevada (105), El Dorado Springs (110), and Monett (113).
Hall, who recently won the Nixa small school meet, finished ninth in 21 minutes, 50.62 seconds. Macy’s 23rd amounted to a time of 23:09.47.
Additionally, for the Lady Wildcats, Sara Harbaugh finished 37th in 24:09.63, Emily Hopper 45th in 24:32.82, and Kerstyn Rolf 70th in 26:51.13.
Running for East Newton were Maci Renner 24th in 23:12.43, Kaylee Rader 27th in 23:16.16, and Brytni Logan 33rd in 23:46.57.
East Newton did not point in the girls competition.
Seneca’s Tegan Roller finished 38th in 24:10.47, Glori Caputo 41st in 24:17.81, and K’le Wilson 91st in 29:32.91.
On the boys side, East Newton finished ninth with 262 points and Seneca came in 15th with 351, while Diamond did not have enough runners to qualify for the team race.
Dylan Jackson and Jacob Bennion led the way for the Patriots, finishing in 24th and 25th, respectively, with times of 18:28.07 and 18:28.72.
Matt Decker finished 53rd in 19:29.22, Sam Hansen 54th in 19:29.92, and Blaine Carter 128th in 24:59.79.
Evanston St. Clair, Dakota Wilson, and Ian Gayer finished right around each other for Seneca — St. Clair 60th in 19:42.72, Wilson 64th in 19:46.38, and Gayer 66th in 19:52.60.
Additionally, for the Indians, Alex Campbell finished 76th in 20:04.31, Josh Hicks 105th in 21:40.71, and Morgan Bryan 111th in 22:04.98.
Diamond’s Sean Dalton finished 41st in 19:12.23, Jake Frazier 109th in 21:57.97, and Triston Kralicek 126th in 24:36.67.
