SPRINGFIELD — The Neosho Wildcats competed Tuesday in the Irish Invitational hosted by Springfield Catholic.

On the boys side, two Neosho runners finished in the top 20 and the Wildcats finished seventh as a team with 157 points.

Oliver Bopp finished 15th with a time of 18 minutes, 26.01 seconds and Nathaniel Wimpey placed 19th in 18:44.80.

Other Neosho finishers were Cooper Hayes 41st in 20:12.47, Jeremy Brown 46th in 20:27.81, and Preston Ford 47th in 20:28.07.

On the girls side, Neosho’s Destiny Colston and Makayla Hall each finished in the top 40: Colston 33rd in 22:28.30 and Hall 37th in 22:48.92.

Additionally, Kylie Ropp finished 44th in 23:52.30 and Hanna Lett 61st in 32:09.06.

Neosho returns to action next Thursday in the Central Ozark Conference Large meet hosted by Nixa. Running begins at 4 p.m.
