ANDERSON — The McDonald County Mustangs hosted Willard and Springdale Har-Ber for a triangular Tuesday night.

McDonald County fell in both duals, 51-23 to Willard and 51-30 to Springdale Har-Ber.

The Mustangs returned home for a dual Thursday night against Grove (Oklahoma).

On Tuesday, against Har-Ber, McDonald County began with a win by forfeit for Oscar Ortiz (120 pounds) and a 3 minute, 23 second pin by Jakob Gerow (126) against Brendan Davis for 12 points.

Joshua French (132), Jackson Nichols (138), and Max Salinas (145) each won by pin against Keagan Spurgeon, Jordan Meadow, and Marshall Brock, respectively, in 43 seconds, 1:42, and 1:01.

Jack Teague (152), Timber Teague (182), and Eh Doh Say (106) were the only Mustang wrestlers to come away with points the remainder of the dual.

Jack Teague pinned Alex Wilson in 2:00, Timber Teague won by forfeit, and Eh Doh Say pinned William Trammell in 3:01.

Bronnie Kinser (285) lost a 7-2 decision to Alejandro Ramirez, an outstanding defensive lineman for the Har-Ber football team.

In the dual against Willard, both a past and future district opponent, Ortiz (120) pinned Oscar Martinez in 3:51, Gerow (126) won a 19-4 tech fall against Jonah Peters, Timber Teague (182) won a 13-6 decision against Sam Manis, Brandon Andrew (220) earned a 8-4 decision against Austin Webb, and Kinser (285) pinned Dennis Trif in 47 seconds.
