Diamond got 16 points apiece from Kyle Heman and Ryan Jinks and the Wildcats made a second half comeback to defeat Wheaton, 60-54 on the road Friday night.
The win puts the Wildcats’ streak at 11 in a row.
At halftime, the two teams were nearly even, with Wheaton leading 30-28. But, in the second half, Diamond cranked up its intensity on defense and mounted a comeback to secure the win.
Other scorers for Diamond were: Jared Huffman 13, Chance Hardy 6, Scott Corn 4, Logan Myers 4 and Trent Hayes 1.
The Wildcats (17-2) will return to Spring River Valley Conference play Tuesday night when they host Golden City. Diamond is undefeated in SRVC competition thus far in 2012. Tip off of the junior varsity game is 6 p.m.
