Behind 19 points and 10 rebounds from Logan Myers, the Diamond Wildcats easily dispatched of Golden City, 74-30, for their 12th straight victory. The win also keeps the Wildcats undefeated in Spring River Valley Conference play.
The Wildcats got out to a 22-4 lead after one quarter and carried a 45-15 lead into the locker room at halftime. The outcome was never in doubt.
Other scorers for Diamond were: Kyle Heman 16, Chance Hardy 14, Jared Huffman 9, Ryan Jinks 8, Trent Hayes 4, Scott Corn 2 and Darren Russow 2. Jinks and Corn had seven and six assists, respectively for the Wildcats.
Diamond (18-2, 4-0 SRVC) will travel to Liberal Friday night and look to keep this hot streak going.
