Seneca closed out its annual tournament Saturday afternoon with a 57-30 loss at the hands of Willard.

Seneca was led in scoring by Molli Cooper with 10 points. Mirana Heath and Bailey Skelton had eight points and Annie Howard had four. Skelton pulled down a team-high eight boards for Seneca. Cooper had four steals.

Willard built a big lead in the first quarter and Seneca never recovered in the loss.

“We turned the ball over too much in the first quarter," Seneca coach Bob Coffey said. "That led to some easy baskets for Willard.  After that, we settled down and played pretty good ball.”

Seneca finished the tournament 0-2. Willard went 2-0 for the title of the round robin tournament.

The all-tournament team consisted of: Molli Cooper (Seneca), Megan Wilson (Diamond), Hanna Million (Diamond), Mallory Kurtz (Willard), Brittany Scott (Willard) and tourament MVP Brook Duncan (Willard).
