The Seneca Indians got back on track Friday night with a 57-50, Big 8 Conference win over Aurora at home.
Kyler Ng scored 23 points to lead the way as the Indians snapped a five-game losing streak.
Seneca took control early, outscoring the Houn’ Dawgs, 17-9 in the first quarter. That momentum would carry over as the Indians took a 28-22 lead into the locker room and never trailed.
Other scorers for Seneca were: Dalton Lindsey 10, Chance Smith 7, Daniel Noah 6, Zack Kelly 4, Logan St. Clair 3, Payton Rawlins 2, Elias Roelfsema 1 and Bradley Jumper 1.
Seneca (10-9, 1-1 Big 8) will travel to Granby on Tuesday to take on East Newton. Tip off for that contest is set for 6 p.m. The junior varsity will play first with the varsity game to follow immediately after.
