Hanna Million continued her hot streak and Diamond made a fourth quarter rally translate into a tournament championship at the Sarcoxie Invitational Saturday.
Diamond defeated College Heights, 43-41 in the tournament final.
Million scored 10 points to bring her tournament average to 15.3 points per game. The Lady Wildcats got 13 points from Stefani Thomas.
College Heights took a 34-31 lead into the fourth quarter. However, Diamond outscored the Lady Cougars, 12-9 in the final eight minutes to claim the victory.
Other scorers for Diamond were: Cady Littlefield 10, Megan Wilson 6, Heather Wilson 2 and Asia Mahan 2.
Diamond 44, Jasper 35
Diamond got to the tournament final with a 44-35 win over Jasper on Tuesday.
In that game, Million scored 15 points and Thomas had 11 for the Lady Wildcats.
