The Crowder College Roughriders received the No. 1 seed in this week’s NJCAA Division I baseball tournament. 

The Rough-riders finished 33-23 overall, and 19-9 in Region XVI play.

Regional tournament games begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 7, on the campus of Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo. 

The championship game is set for 1 p.m. Sunday.

The four first-round games scheduled Wednesday are:

n 9 a.m.: No. 4 Mineral Area (15-13) vs. No. 5 St. Charles (15-13)

n 11:30 a.m.: No. 3 Maple Woods (15-13) vs. No. 6 Three Rivers (14-14)

n 2 p.m.: No. 1 Crowder College (19-9) vs. No. 8 North Central (6-22)

n 4 p.m.: No. 2 Jefferson (17-11) vs. No. 7 Meramec (11-17).
