The Neosho boys basketball team, coming off a big win over Logan-Rogersville Friday, picked up another big win Monday. The Wildcats had a great start and won 70-54 over Aurora on the road.
Neosho (4-2) dominated the first quarter, outscoring the Houn’ Dawgs 26-5 to take a big lead.
“Most of the points were in transition,” Neosho coach Ben Ponce said. “We played really good defense and got in their passing lines and then got out and ran the court and got layups.”
The Wildcats had a 45-18 lead at halftime.
