The third year for head coach Tina Robbins at Crowder College starts Monday evening when the team opens up the year with a home game against visiting Neosho County Community College from Chanute, Kan.
Crowder will have a lot of new faces this year, as the roster of 15 players includes 13 freshmen this winter.
Crowder was 8-23 last year and finished 1-11 in Region XVI play.
Crowder has seven home games before the Christmas break, with only three road games in that stretch.
Monday night will be “Camper Night” as all kids who attended the Crowder basketball camp will get in the game for free.
Tipoff against NCCC is at 6 p.m. at Bob Sneller Gymnasium.
