The East Newton Lady Patriots had to rally from a 10-point first half deficit to beat Pierce City 45-38 in the McAuley Lady Warrior Classic.
The victory put East Newton in the finals against Seneca at 6 p.m. Saturday.
The Neosho girls went on the road and lost to Ozark, 56-24, in Central Ozark Conference.
The McDonald County Lady Mustangs shook off some rust and beat Carl Junction, 64-54.
