Sky High Broadcasting and the KNEO Sports Network have announced their plans and schedule for broadcasting the entire 2009 Seneca Indians football season.

Joining the KNEO sports team and giving the games’ play-by-play will be Seneca residents Deron Burr and Britt Burr.

“We are extremely happy to have announcers with knowledge of both football and the Seneca Indians,” stated Adam Winkler, KNEO director of operations. “Deron and Britt know the coaches, the players and the history of Seneca sports which gives them a unique insight that listeners should appreciate.”

Games will be broadcast live each Friday night, and can be heard on the radio stations Web site: www.kneo.org. The online streaming, or webcast, is a new feature for the KNEO Sports Network and gives it the ability to not only expand their high school sports coverage, but to also archive their broadcast online, so fans can go back and hear their favorite games anytime.

To experience the games live, listeners can visit www.kneo.org and click on the “Sports” link.  From the KNEO sports page, click on the Seneca Indians logo and then click  “Listen Live” to enjoy the game.

A bonus tape delayed broadcast will be aired on KNEO 91.7 FM at approximately 9:30 p.m., Friday night, giving fans a second chance to listen. KNEO recently tripled their power output making them one of the most powerful FM stations in the market.

“We are excited about being a part of the KNEO Sports Network this year, and look forward to a great season from the Indians,” Burr said. “Having broadcast on both the internet and radio means that everyone will have a chance to hear the games.”

According to Winkler, KNEO is hoping for a long-term relationship with Seneca athletics.

“It’s the sponsors that make all this possible,” Winkler said. “The Indians have a great fan base and strong support from local businesses. We are proud to be able to bring such an appreciated community service to the area, and we hope this is only the beginning.”
