The Neosho Storm competed in four games in Pittsburg, Kansas, on Jan. 29. The Storm went undefeated for the day and took first place. The Storm played Pittsburg, Webb City, and two Skywalkers all-star teams. They outscored opponents 131-67.
The Neosho seventh grade boys’ basketball team dropped a pair of contests to Republic Tuesday night at Neosho Middle School.
Forty Wildcat X-treme Team wrestlers traveled to Ozark last weekend to compete in the Ozark Youth Wrestling Club tournament.
Of those, 33 came home with first through fourth place medals.

The Neosho Youth Football League had a road trip last weekend. The Neosho Gold teams traveled to Granby to take on East Newton while the Neosho Black squads headed to Junge Stadium to face off with Joplin Blue. This weekend, the NYFL will close out their fall slate with Neosho Gold playing host to Webb City White at Bob Anderson Stadium and Neosho Black traveling to Seneca.
Last Saturday, the Neosho Youth football league took the field for the fourth time this season. The Neosho Gold teams played at Bob Anderson Stadium against the visiting Lamar Tigers. The Gold teams went 0-4 against the Tigers. The Neosho Black teams played on the road at Webb City. The Black teams split, going 2-2 against the Cardinals on the day. This weekend, both the Neosho Gold and Black teams will be on the road. Gold will travel to East Newton while Black will take on Joplin Blue at Junge Stadium.
Last Saturday, the Neosho Youth Football teams took on Carthage. The gold teams played at Bob Anderson Stadium for the first time this fall, while the black teams traveled to Carthage. Overall, Neosho went 2-6 against their future conference rivals. This weekend, Neosho Black will square off against Webb City Blue on the road. Neosho Gold will stay home and take on Lamar.
Neosho seventh graders beat Nixa 22-0 Gold, 14-14 draw for Black while eighth graders fall 35-8 Gold and win 14-6 Black.
The Neosho Black Youth Football team took on Webb City on Saturday at Bob Anderson Stadium. The Neosho Gold team had the week off. Neosho Black went 1-3 against the Webb City Cardinals Red team. This Saturday, the Neosho Gold teams will travel to Junge Stadium to face Joplin Blue. Neosho Black will take on McDonald County in their final home games of the year.
The Neosho Youth Football League season kicked off last weekend against the Carl Junction Bulldogs. The Gold teams traveled to Carl Junction while the Black teams got to open their season in the friendly confines of Bob Anderson Stadium.

The Neosho Middle School track team took part in a meet in McDonald County on Tuesday.
The Neosho Storm played its final tournament of the season at the Republic March Madness Invitational this past weekend. The Storm played the Fair Grove Lady Eagles, Missouri Valley Magic all-star team, and Bolivar Lady Liberators. The team of 5th grade girls went 2-1 for the day and earned second place in the tournament.
The Neosho XTreme Team youth wrestling program competed at the state meet in Columbia last weekend.
Sign-ups for the Neosho Youth Football League cheerleaders will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 31, at Benton Elementary School.
The Rainmakers basketball program will be hosting tryouts for sixth and eighth grade boys competitive basketball teams on March 28-29 at Carterville Christian Church.
