Seneca man dies from wreck injuries

A Seneca man died Sunday from injuries suffered in a one-vehicle crash that took place Friday on Missouri Highway 43, six miles south of Seneca.

Larry R. Roark, 51, was pronounced dead at 10:50 a.m. Sunday at Joplin’s Freeman West Hospital.
Roark was seriously injured Friday evening when his southbound 2006 Ford went off of the right side of the roadway and struck an embankment and a utility pole, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Roark was airlifted to Freeman West for treatment, a patrol report said.
