A Monett woman sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle crash that took place at 8:25 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 60, two miles east of Granby.
Aleson Xiong, 19, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital for treatment.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened as a westbound 1999 Honda Civic driven by Xiong struck a deer in the roadway. The deer then came through the windshield.
Xiong was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, a patrol report noted.

Two McDonald County residents sustained minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash that took place at 2:05 p.m. Friday on Route E in Powell.
Danielle B. Munroe, 22, of Pineville, was taken by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark., for treatment. Meanwhile John P. VanDyken, 77, of Powell, was taken by private vehicle to St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Joplin for treatment.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred as a southbound 2004 Toyota Corolla driven by VanDyken failed to yield and pulled into the path of a northbound 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Munroe.
It is not known if Munroe was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, but VanDyken was, a patrol report noted.
