David M. Carlin, 69, Neosho, died March 5, 2015, at Medicalodge in Neosho following an illness.

 
David was born Dec. 6, 1945, in Littlefield, Texas, the son of Merl K. and Catherine Carlin of Picher, Okla. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard, December 1965 through June 1982. He worked on the packing line and as a stockman for Sunbeam for 17 years, tool and die at Eagle Picher for three years and then as a stocker at Wal-Mart. He enjoyed doing puzzles and watching the St. Louis Cardinals.  


David and Karen Johnson were married on March 12, 1994, at Joplin and she survives.  


Also surviving are two stepchildren, Carl Johnson and Alex Johnson; his twin brother, Dennis Carlin and wife, Judy; and brother, Gary Linton, Roswell, N.M.  David has been taken for cremation and no services are planned at this time.             


Cremation Services are under the direction of Clark Funeral Home, Neosho.
