A public hearing on city property tax rates will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Neosho City Hall, 203 E. Main St.

Citizens will have the chance to comment on property tax rates proposed by the City of Neosho, a political subdivision. City council will hold the public hearing during regular session of its bi-monthly meeting and will hold all three readings of a bill, under emergency measure, to approve the new tax rate.

Council will meet in special session at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in city hall to consider a Notice of Election and Procedures for application to obtain a ballot for the Neosho Transportation Development District fund.
