 I hope your 2017 is off to a positive start and at least a few New Year’s resolutions remain intact.
Given our family’s hectic Christmas break, we actually celebrated Christmas on New Year’s Day. And, due to inclement weather a couple weeks earlier, our church presented its Christmas music on Jan. 1 as well. Our house was full of laughter and noise as the children awaited the gift-giving moment! When permission to open gifts was granted, the paper did fly. I never tire of watching the kids, some of them now in their 20s, rip through colorful wrapping paper to discover the gift inside!
