Lawrence L. Robertson, 61, of Anderson was taken to Mercy Hospital in Joplin with moderate injuries after the 4 a.m. wreck two miles north of Southwest City.
Robertson was traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 43 when the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported he pulled his 1996 Chevrolet Blazer into a field. It was struck by a southbound John Deere tractor operated by Clayton D. Cory, 31, of Southwest City. Cory was unhurt.
Aaron G. Norris, 25, of Neosho was taken Tuesday to the Newton County Jail after his 9 p.m. arrest by a trooper. He was jailed on a misdemeanor warrant from Callaway County for failure to appear/driving while revoked, according to the patrol. He was pulled over at Long John Silvers for failure to display valid plates. The report indicated he was charged for that and for driving while revoked and no seatbelt.
